Zondervan Retiring Pradis® Software, Moving Content to Other Platforms

Zondervan today announced that it is moving away from the Pradis software it created and will license other search engines, including the leader Logos Bible Software. Thirty one Zondervan titles, representing 87 individual volumes, will become available for use with Logos Bible Software in early 2010.

I sure hope Zondervan will continue to release updates and new titles with Accordance. Don't mean to rain on a great announcement for Zondervan, but as someone with $1000s invested in Accordance, it would sure be nice to know.

I would hope that Zondervan will honor those of us who bought their software with the ability to incorporate it into the Logos/Libronix system.

Zondervan is going to make sure we work with the Pradis customers for a smooth transition to other search engines. Current Pradis customers will be eligible for a discount directly from Zondervan when new titles become available. It troubled me that I was allowed to purchase hundreds of dollars of titles with no warning at purchase time that in months or weeks Pradis would cease. How do I find the info. about transitioning to the other platform(s)?
Will Zondervan issue perhaps some summary guidance for those of us who love the resources and platform we have been using?

Your Pradis software will continue to be supported until June 2010, and should continue to provide what you need with your current computer configuration. Zondervan will be providing some of its resources on the Logos software platform starting in early 2010.
